For noodles:

2 packs of Indomie Mi Goreng Satay
1 shallot, chopped
1 red chilli, chopped and seeds removed.
1 egg omelette, sliced
1 lime, cut into wedges
1 carrot, diced
1 cucumber, diced
1 tomato, sliced
Mint leaves to garnish

For the Satay:

300g beef fillet (or chicken tight), diced
150ml sweet soy sauce
1 Tbsp coriander powder
2 Tbsp oil
1 Tbsp tamarind water
1 red onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, crushed
2 red chillies (optional)
2 Tbsp tomato sauce
1 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
1 Tbsp brown sugar


Marinate beef, spices, soy sauce, coriander, oil and tamarind water for 2 hours.

Insert meat onto skewers and grill until cooked.

Prepare Indomie Mi Goreng Satay as per cooking directions and add shallots and chilli. Mix well and place on a plate.

Put 3 pieces of Satay skewers on top of the noodles, garnish with the omelette, diced cucumber, carrot, tomatoes, mint leaves and lime on the side. Squeeze a lime over dish if desired.
